We absolutely LOVE these books and my daughter's handwriting has improved dramatically since using this system. Using the Charlotte Mason method, each lesson is relatively short. The child picks a picture out of the Draw Write Now book and follows the instructions to draw a picture in his or her workbook. After that the child chooses a sentence to copy which is related to the picture. The layout of the workbooks is also fantastic for maintaining an easy history notebook for the early elementary years. My daughter draws pictures related to history lessons and then copies a sentence related to what she learned in the lesson.
